The Lithofin Stainstop W is a special solvent-free impregnator product from the Lithofin brand that effectively protects surfaces against the penetration of oil, grease, dirt, and water, and it largely prevents staining. Lithofin Stainstop W facilitates care on all absorbent stain-sensitive surfaces like natural stones, with a polished, honed, or rough surface, concrete, and absorbent unglazed tiles. Lithofin Stainstop W is suitable for a wide variety of applications, including building facades, floors, walls, swimming pool surrounds, patios, garages, kitchens, and entertaining areas.
Good sealers have reaction times measured in minutes, protecting the surface from primarily water-based contaminants. How to Use Lithofin Stainstop W:
- The surface should be completely dry, clean and free of stains.
- Shake the bottle before use.
- Apply generously and evenly using a mop, brush, roller or sponge.
- Ensure the material is evenly distributed on polished surfaces by wiping over several times.
- Lithofin Stainstop W can also be applied with a garden pump spray and then distributed evenly with a wide brush.
- Highly absorbent surfaces should receive a second application after approx. 20 minutes.
- Avoid puddles and drips which should be wiped away immediately.
- Ensure that all surplus product is removed, do not allow it to dry on the surface.
- Clean all tools with clean water immediately after use.
- The full effect will be achieved after 48 hours. Keep the surface free of water and oil during this time.
- Some materials may appear slightly darker after treatment.
- We recommend an initial trial application.
- Always treat the entire surface in the room.
- The product does not protect against acid ingress.
- Avoid splashes on wood, glass, PVC, lacquered surfaces.
- Application temperature: 100C to 250
- Coverage approx: Absorbent surfaces – 7m2/L, Rough concrete - 10m2/L, Polished stone up to 20m2/L.
